...And two entries in Marriage by Groom Index for Obado in the 1960-1965 book:

No one is disputing that there were people named OBADO in Hawaii who married and had children. Two of those children are listed on the birth index. With the number of OBADO who came from the Philippines, of Spanish Catholic ancestry - to work on the plantations, it's a wonder there aren't more.

Find MAE OBADO. Maybe her middle name was DUPLICATE.

I pretty much don’t give a damn about Mae “Duplicate” - I care about the use of “duplicate” and what it signifies. I spent considerable time and some $$ trying to get a simple OFFICIAL answer to that one little harmless question. The HI DOH was not forthcoming.

If you choose to believe that there was a girl named Duplicate that is your own concern. I do not judge.
