Does she have a name that may be construed as belonging to a man? Has she recently applied to college and inadvertently replied to the selective service question as No rather than N/A?
I half way expected my daughters to recieve such a letter as they both have names that are for male or female.

It could also be ID theft. Young children are primary targets for this, as a child, you never check their credit reports, so if a criminal gets a hold of one, and uses it lightly for a few years, it is worth a TON of money to an illegal immigrant who needs it.
A “baked” ID can go for thousands of dollars to someone desperate for a ID with a “history.”

For the first time ever in the 52 years since I named my daughter Kenya, I can see where she might have an advantage today with this administration.
It would be invidious discrimination to fail to give the same tax exemption to American citizens!
