He seems to confirm the list of things that Sheriff Kessler made is true.
That does not give me a warm feeling. Those accusations are just too great a stretch of plausibility. If this were a movie, I would say these accusations violate the rule called "suspension of disbelief." The point at which something occurs which is just too implausible to make the plot believable.
These accusations are just a bridge too far. If this is what they are going to try to prove, then the evidence needs to be astonishingly persuasive, and I find it very unlikely that they will have such evidence.
I'm willing to hear them out, but these statements feel to me like they have moved into kook territory.
Since you have no idea of the evidence Zullo has, and so far everything he has claimed is backed up by detailed evidence, your instant accusations are very odd. Zullo and Arpaio’s track record is excellent. Now all of a sudden, in your mind, they are kooks.
From what I’ve seen from Zullo, he would not make assertions unless he has the goods to back it up. The team is ultra methodical in their work.
If Zullo’s evidence is rock solid, why IS he waiting? I have been foremost among those saying ‘give him time’. But that was based on the assumption he was still standing his evidence up. If the latter, he should keep his cards close to the vest until every ‘i’ is dotted & every ‘t’ is crossed.
But if the legwork is done & the evidence is ‘astonishingly persuasive’, then what DOES he gain by waiting?
Zullo does NOT confirm any of Kessler’s “revelations”.
4Sultan was intentionally distorting the interview’s content as part of his tireless efforts to impede these discussions with distractions and misstatements and any other encumberance he can contrive to thwart the exchange of useful information. Only when called out by MMaschin in this case, does he throw up a pitifully scant veil behind which to hide his subversion.
“If this is what they are going to try to prove, then the evidence needs to be astonishingly persuasive, and I find it very unlikely that they will have such evidence.”
I agree! Arpaio wouldn’t even admit to charging Barry with being behind forging his BC focusing instead on whoever did it, a very conservative approach...up to this point!
Kessler's rant was extremely foolish. Perhaps drink-inspired. As usual, the Conservative spokesmen whose thoughts make it to public view can seem largely composed of two types: semi-literate former rock'n'roll DJs and VFW Bar-room blowhards. The Left loves this and promotes it.
The MSM plays pretty good chess with their Leftist Agenda. Is the best our team can come up with cracker barrel checkers? News isn't only content. It's also timing. It's also proper presentation. Eggs-over-easy, Bacon and Grits are great. But not if you throw'em on the floor, or in someone's face.
The convention Zullo addressed has yet to officially endorse his remarks. The CCP triumph is self-proclaimed. Not quite what we're looking for. Nor is I am willing to wager, Beck's latest ..."Within 24 hours I shall reveal" ....
Those accusations are just too great a stretch of plausibility.
The bitch of it is that they are not at all a stretch. Uncoordinated info is in the wrong hands and this is not the way to get it the right hands.
The CCP claims it has shown their evidence to members of Congress, whom they have convinced. Great! Name names.
