My belief re Columbia is that for some reason Obama went to NYC after his sojourn with his boy pal in Pakistan. And maybe his grandparents were pushing for him to get back into college, so he took some classes at the Columbia “extension school,” open to the general public. Around then, he fell in with Ayres. After some time. Ayres realizes this is a better way I to the White House, practically a sure thing, no explosives needed, no more blowing up of girlfriends. But to get him Into Harvard Law, he’s got to say he graduated from Columbia. Maybe they faked it because they were experts at fake IDs - why not a fake diploma? Cue the Saudis, the rest is history. Sadly, OUR HISTORY.
All I know is that I was in Poly Sci at FSU and there is a small core of courses everyone has to take and only 2-3 professors teach them. You may not know everyone’s name but you would know their face as they would have been in at least one class with you. The profs would also know you at least by sight.
I’m going to take a wild guess that there were not that many black poly sci majors at Columbia in 1983. Barry would have been remembered for sure.
