I think that is the real question here, not that the towers fell but how they stood for so long after being chopped in half. At the risk of sounding hokey, I am going to venture it was American Exceptional-ism that kept the towers standing for so long. They were extremely well made, plain and simple.
Of course, that's why George Bush had to have them demolished with explosives :-)
They also ignore the fact that tower 2 that was chopped in half at the 77th floor fell 46 minutes sooner than tower 1 that was chopped in half at the 93rd floor. Why? More weight on top of it. I guess Bush immediately took that into account and using mathematics ordered tower 2 blown up at precisely 56 minutes after the initial hit so it would look more realistic.
