Lol
The comments of youngsters here commenting on the long ago 90s ...is more amusing
Malls started in late 60s...a big deal then
Before that....gasp....shopping centers or plazas
The hair looks more 80s

Yeah. The GM 'window' distibutor had that little knob tool with the dial on it, but to get it right you had to have the meter.
I remember getting a panic call from my wife one morning--she had dropped the kids off at school and the pickup (F-100, 352 V-8) wouldn't start. Grabbed a feeler gauge and a screwdriver, stopped by NAPA and got points and a condenser. Popped the cap, had her bump the engine around until the lobe was at it's high, stuck the feeler gauge in the points and swapped out the points and condenser. Tightened it up, put the cap back on, and it fired right up...Carried a spare in the glove box after that.

Green Acres “turned Amish” around 89-90, an I don’t see to many of them in these photos.

This is the Smithhaven mall on Lawn Guyland. BTW: Nobody in NJ says “Joyzee.” That’s more of a pre-hipster Brooklyn thing.

Ha...lol...to some of us..you are pretty darn young. Make it a great day. :-)

Definitely. The 60s began the decline. It wouldn’t reach its worst stage until 2009 though.
To: Viennacon
It wouldnt reach its worst stage until 2009 though. Agreed...regretfully. (shakes head)

Lols!
I Guess Cureling of the Hair must have went out of style by the 2000's because I don't see anyone with their Hair Curled nowadays.
I just miss the prices from those days "\
Hell, I miss it when the Government didn't Purposely decreased the value of their own money!
That is what I miss the most, a strong dollar.

What female over 13 (and under 50) today still has it ? All "bald" and tattooed.
Don't understand the "prepubescent "look.
Men are shaving their body hair as well. And the tattoes are horrible. At a distance, the "sleeve' and full body tats look like they have a skin disease. Yukk!
Just wait a few years...my uncle had a few simple tats(Ship's name, anchor.) when he was in the navy...After a few years the ink migrated to other areas and when he died it was a barely recognizible blob.

Hey! Big hair is still here in Texas!

Perhaps I should’ve extended my comment to those under 60. My father went out to visit my half-sister in the SF Bay Area (she’s in her early 50s) and in a mid-life crisis, decided to get a big tattoo on her arm. Real classy.
Of course, I just saw Speaker Boehner’s equally orange daughter (pushing 40) who married the Rastafarian Cat in the Hat. She has a big ole arm tattoo and looks like a past-her-prime soft core porn actress from late night Skinamax.

Try Buckethead. No vocals? He doesn’t even have a face.

Ain’t just our yoots. Look at the 52-year old manchild emperor.

A few overweight people. Not many though. The young people (under 25’s) are noticeably thinner.
Same pics today would add 40+lbs to pretty much every age group over 12 or so.

The 80s: When guys went hung out at the mall to see chicks dressed like this...
Wasn’t a big fan of the look either.
