Think about that for a while and honestly tell me that there will be a cavalry to come in and rescue those patriots willing to take a stand or will they be just another David Koresh style take down.

Bingo. You had better believe the next "revolution" will be a David Koresh style take down.

The rebels of 1776 had one-third of the population solidly behind them, one-third of the population ready to risk life, limb, and fortune.

The rebels of 1776 also had a powerful and effective foreign ally, France.

The fantasy "rebels" of 2013 have neither of these advantages. They are nothing but targets for a federal government that can be extremely effective when it wants to be.

And yet I would dare say that most of those "fantasy rebels", as you so deridingly and mockingly state, will shoulder weapons if it comes right down to it, inexperience and all.

The real question would be if you will still be on the sidelines smirking and mocking, or if you will have the courage of your convictions.

The 1/3-1/3-1/3 split is about the same today.

More telling....26 states are controlled by conservative GOPer’s in both houses and the governorships. 30 have GOP Governors and control at least one house.

We are no longer one nation. DC is an imperial city. It ends west of the Potomac, west of the Hudson, and east of the Sierra Nevada’s and Cascades. The rest of us are no more than colonies to them. Ignorant savages to be dragooned into their model world.

It will be a state, not a peasant rebellion...just like 1775 and 1861...that is the American way. Google the nullification laws on various issues now in place in so many states...Kansas and MO just passed nullification in the last week. I lose count. Here is a decent place to start...

http://tenthamendmentcenter.com/

The French didn’t pile on or even provide aid until late 1778 3 years into it. Popular support at one point was down to 2,500 cold, shoeless, unfed, unpaid men crossing the Delaware to capture Trenton and keep us in the war.

“Now is the time that try men’s souls. The summer soldier and sunshine patriot are long gone.” Sound familiar?

And....the federal government may be good at selective intimidation, but they are not effective on a large scale....were you ever in the military? A public school? Ever seen a large scale FEMA operation up close? A VA hospital? Airport security? Bay of Pigs? BenGhazi? 9/11? Boston bomber? Katrina? Sandy Hook relief? Fast and Furious? The current gun control circus bus crash?

And the most effective among them would in large part “go south” as they used to say.

I for one would rather face a pack of affirmative action fat lesbians from CA or NYC than one steely eyed country boy from TN with a trident and anchor pounded into his chest.

I personally think the current brink of disaster is outrageous and hope to hell it recedes...but people are stupid in herds and things get out of hand....August 1914.

I do not doubt that they believe their own BS and think they are omnipotent....I fear that they are stupid enough to try to prove it.

Pray for peace and God’s aid.
