Whenever there is an “unusual event” at a nuke plant, other nuke plants in the US get very tense.
I once had the opportunity to meet the guy in charge of security at a natural gas powered plant. A Vietnam veteran, he was not the kind of guy it would be wise to try to sneak up on and surprise. He had a hand picked security detail, and a bunch of really expensive special weapons as needed.

Really? I’ve been inside a lot of non-nuclear power plants and the security is always just a notch above Barney Fife.
