THey are based in Cyprus. The website says they require prescriptions, is that true?

I’m a big fan of the fish antibiotics. It was particularly amusing when I filled a prescription for antibiotics and found that the pills were identical, just more expensive than the corresponding ones for fish.

I recently got an Rx for amoxycillin after some dental surgery. The pills I picked up at the pharmacy were identical in color and the little number on each capsule as the fish-mox I got a few months ago.

Should I not respond to insults which are based on a failure to read what I have already said? Hmmm?

Maybe you are think of tetracycline and erythromycin, which can become toxic after they expire.

No, I have posted my source of information several times and further I gave all the respect I could possibly offer to others opinions and sources of information. What more can I do than that?

You could read the sources in the post and consider them.

I did read those. As I said before, I trust my source (an MD and decades-long pharmaceutical researcher at John Hopkins, his wife is too) and you are free, as is everyone else here, to trust your sources. Isn’t that fair enough for you?

I’ve read enough sources to have worked out my strategy.

I have three 100 pill bottles of antibiotics on the shelf. Hopefully I’ll just throw them away sometime in 3 or 4 years.

Plan to buy a few more bottles sometime soon as well.

Anything you want that is not a scheduled drug.

Does "scheduled drug" mean one that requires a prescription?

That is exactly what I would recommend doing. The difficulty is getting a scrip for what you need/want and paying U.S. prices. If the Canadian online pharmacy solves that problem then we are all good to go.

I don’t know why you have copped an attitude with me but if smartass remarks make you feel good then go for it.

We’ve used them, they are fine. You need a prescription, and no controlled substances. Only a 3 month supply can be sent out now instead of the 6 month they used to be able to send because of tightened regulations on this side of the border.

Many of the manufacturers are overseas....for us specifically India and Denmark. As I say, we’ve had no problems and save quite a bit on some of the meds we take.

Yes, and No. Cephalosporins last next to forever if kept sealed and dry. Tetracyclines are the bad ones. The become hepatotoxic after their expiration date.
After a certain time, all antibiotics will lose their efficacy.

Another way is to just to stay up a night or two and then do a run, allowing yourself no more then snatches of sleep.
