Our country is at war...and the enemy is in the building (to paraphrase Eric Nordstrom) .
Will do.
May God pour out His richest blessings to you both.
More like “and the enemy is on the golf course..again.”
Congratulations. Your pride is justified. God keep him safe and well .
Obama is just a front man...
Prayers for my Brother, and we welcome him into his new family.
Prayers always
And Semper Fi
God bless you all
Front man, puppet, whatever. He’s a willing participant. And he likes what he’s doing.
I know the pride you are feeling. I felt the same exact feeling when my son became a Marine. He was 18 and so young looking back. The day of his graduation was one of the happiest days of my life. Did he graduate from Pendelton or Parris Island?
Congratulations and best wishes — to him AND to you! And prayers for well-being and good leadership.
I cannot even pretend to know the feeling of pride you as a parent must have knowing that your child has achieved the lofty goal of becoming a United States Marine. Congratulations to him and to you, and may God Bless you both.
Tell your son “Thank you”!
He will graduate from Parris Island on Friday. I can hardly wait! But he’s already a Marine, as of yesterday (Saturday) morning, when he finished the Crucible.
He had to overcome a lot of personal disasters, heartbreaks, humiliations, and naysayers to do this. It took real guts to force himself through it when people around him were trying to break him down. Funny to say that you admire your own kid, but I do—even if I were a man and in good health, I couldn’t do what he has done.
Now if he can just avoid getting killed, that would be swell.
Will keep him in my prayers. Thank you for giving us a fine American!!! :)

Congrats! My brother just retired from the Marines. Oo-rah!
Congrats to both of you - and please thank him for his service and our freedom!
I was in 6th grade when we went and watched my brother graduate from Parris Island. He was a much nicer brother when he came home! More respectful and mature but still a lot of fun. And he didn't treat me like his lame little sister anymore!
I too am a proud Marine father. My son served 8 years in the Corp on active duty. I consider him a Marine...yesterday, today and forever. My blessings to you...Be Proud. He deserves it!
