In many ways you aren't. But many others have not turned from God. The problem is that those who have are wielding a disproportionate amount of power in politics and popular culture. It's time to push back, assert our ( i believe) majority Judaeo- Christian views and speak in the cause of righteousness. We need to lead the narrative in the culture wars, not continually play catch up. And , God help us we need to be ready to fight for our rights and the truth both figuratively and if needs be -literally.

PS your post sounds like defeatism. You are a child of the living God. You can do better than "nobody loves me, everybody hates me, i think i'll go eat worms"

I'm not defeatist. I was, however, pointing out reasons, why He wouldn't help the US.

I, personally, am saved. No matter what happens to this nation, I will not be lost.

I agree there are still many who have not turned away from Him--but unfortunately that number is shrinking. We cannot use government to sway people--the government reflects the culture, not the other way around.

I would love to lead the narrative in the culture wars--how do you suggest we do that? My personality, unfortunately, is not very extroverted. I'll support those who speak for Right, but I cannot speak publicly without making a fool of myself. I'm a lot like Moses in that regard :)
