Unless I see/hear something first hand, I question the validity of everything. We have been lied to beyond any measure of reason, it’s just impossible imho to discern what is real these days.

Exactly. Leaving aside the possibility that reality is nothing more than a serotonin- or acetylcholine-mediated hallucination, what I truly know about the news at this moment is merely a collection of pixels on a computer or TV screen, - forming letters or images - created by who knows who, and for who knows what manipulative purposes. I’ve been witness to real life situations of importance, and then seen the way they were portrayed in the news or historically, and there was a decided lack of correlation between the two.
