RAND PAUL/VAN JONES 2016: (HAS THE GOP REALLY STOOPED THIS LOW TO SUPPORT THIS CLOWN?)

Here's an easy way to tell when your position isn't a conservative one. When you're standing with Van Jones, your position isn't a conservative one. When you're standing with Code Pink, then your position is not a conservative one.
No amount of noise or chest-beating is going to change that.

One thing I forgot to mention in my post was I was talking about Presidential Politics, and that, sad to say 4 years out, is what we have entered. As these partial conservatives try to jockey, in the all too familiar pattern, to establish the perception of themselves in the publics mind.
If a man is honest, open, and loud about his positions, and has flaws, in my own humble opinion, then I might accept that man.
If, however, there is any pretense, or attempt at establishing a false picture of himself or herself, you can take it to the bank that where conservatism is concerned, that man or woman cannot be trusted.
That is one reason I fully support Sarah Palin and could never support Mitt Romney.
P.S. (Finally, as cripplecreek mentioned upthread, I appreciate, support, and applaud these politicians when they get a concept or position correct, however, the more they tend to try and create false impressions of their own conservatism while taking non-conservative positions, the less I trust them. I have a zerio tolerance for this type of behavior).

It is a sad day when our own side depends on half truths, innuendo, distortions, personal biases, and out of context quotes to smear someone who doesnt deserve this kind of smear.
I am not and have not declared or posted that Greenfield's portrayal of Rand Paul is accurate or objective, however, the posts that I have provided on this thread and others are Rand Pauls own words.
He is not a rock-solid conservative, but more like a toned-down version of his father, while attempting to persuade everyone that he is an actual conservative. His own words and positions betray that perception and attempt on his part.

Who do you consider the perfect candidate?
To: old curmudgeon
Ted Cruz, Sarah Palin, and probably Scott Walker would be good examples.

"... this debate that will divide the Tea Party...."
Is that your goal?
"Bring ALL the troops home and defend the homeland."
You've obviously NEVER served in the military.
While I agree in general with that premise, I know that you must have refueling points along the way to respond to threats.
That is ... unless ... you want to respond to all threats with NUKES.
Do you really want to fight a threat on your homeland soil?
It's better to destroy the threat on THEIR soil.
Only Liberals want us to be "the world's policeman", but most conservatives want us only to respond IF IT'S IN OUR NATIONAL INTEREST, something Liberals know little about.
You need to rethink your position.
It doesn't take many troops to hold a refueling or staging area, so we can bring a lot of our troops home.
But you fight like you practice, and good will with the people in the country you're fighting the threat in ... goes a long way.

Scott walker would be hard to criticize, but I don’t recall his position on immigration.
Sarah Palin has been the most consistent and the most accurate in her views and more importantly, in her predictions of world events.
But she shows absolutely no signs of interest in running, and I don’t blame her.
She is living like a princess. Why would anyone want to leave that life for DC, a concrete jungle inhabited by savages.
The savages have not started on Cruz yet. We will have to wait and see what results when they do.
No man is perfect. By that statement, I am not defending Rand Paul. My original post on this topic was only to point out the foolishness of the comments that Paul is evil because Van Jones and Code Pink agreed with the idea that it is evil to kill an American on American soil without due process.
As I said, no man is perfect. That is why our government has, until now at least, been the best government in history.
Our forefathers realized that the checks and balances they designed would keep a tyrant, at worst, or a badly informed person, at best, from destroying the country.
We have come close in the past and are perilously close at present but so far have survived.
Pray that it works this time.
I am not suggesting that it matters not how bad a choice we make, that the other branches of government will save us from our bad choice, but rather that we must realize that if we tear everyone apart that is not perfect, we will end up with Hillary...or worse.
Remember that even our founders disagreed vehemently on many political matters and as a result designed our form of government so no one faction could run amok.

So, you agree with Obama, that he has the power to attack and kill without due process via an armed drone an American Extremist, The All American TEA Partier?Mr. Bannon has so much trust in the motives of Barack Obama that he believes this is impossible.

The GOP should stay with the tried and true members of the party.
McCain/Boehner 2016
The GOP should put its leaders in a position to win. The leadership of the GOP is the future of the party, so put them on the ticket.

You are correct.
There is a group called neo-cons. They are big government control freaks. They are the party of McCain and Graham. They were once called Rockefeller republicans (country club republicans). They are “compassionate: conservatives.
I stand with Rand. I stand with freedom. I just want to be left alone. I am sick of endless big government, nit picking control freaks.
Let’s get the circular firing squad going as we destroy the one guy who energizes the country on the issue of liberty and let’s get right to stabbing him in the back as the neocons (McLame) would want us to.
Let’s get back to losing the Karl Rove way.
This whole thread make me sick.

Only problem is, the government has decided the constitition and the American people are it’s “terrorist” enemy in it’s global war game. They have empowered the terrorist group, the Muslim Brotherhood in the Middle East and placed it’s agents in control over US government positions regarding Islamic radicalism.
When you see government agents with an IQ of 60 (and sometimes a criminal record), manhandling and molesting American children in wheelchairs at our airports, you know this “war on Islamic terrorists” is a big fat lie to cover a globalist total power grab over the US.
When you see the Federal government’s leaders calling for an end to the first and second amendments, you know we have treasonous asshats in power.
When you see McStupid stand up on his hind legs and whine over the “extremist” question of whether our government has the power to murder US citizens with drones, you know Americans and our constitution are not being represented in either party.

“Reagan said that conservatism is a three legged stool. Social, fiscal and national defense. Either we have all three. Or we have nothing.” - Daniel Greenfield
Rand Paul has the fiscal part, but on social and defense his legs are very wobbly.
To: ReaganGeneration2
I respect your two statements. Agree fully on the first.
Then on the second have to introduce what Ronald Reagan so
eloquently spoke of. Peace through strength.
You understand the world is quite a complicated place.
The Marshal Plan driven by so many factions within the
International Banking system, certain statesmen, including
of course key members within the Congress and Executive Branch,
created what we now have to deal with.
I too can question much of what goes on within the foreign affairs circuit.
Things are really quite complicated. You full well know,
that what you wish could happen is not so easy to arrange.
Just the concept of Peak Oil. Which until a short time ago,
was considered one reason to maintain the world presence we
have embarked on for the past some seventy years or so, can
be used as a reason for not becoming Isolationist.
Where sort of stuck in this position if I can put it that way.

Ted Cruz was born in Canada to a naturalized US citizen mother, Cuban national father, and lived in Canada for 4 years before moving to the US.
He is not a natural born citizen. Too bad, apparently he claimed he is. I guess NBC means nothing now.
