When I first learned as a child about Hitler and the rise of the Nazi's in Germany, I wondered how a nation of people could be either fooled or coerced into supporting it. Now I know. The currently used tactics of Alinsky are no different than those of Goebbels, and the populace is no less susceptible.
If you feel entitled to suppress free speech you are not truly an American and you should not be anywhere near the seats of government power in this country (or any country for that matter).
The best documentary about the rise of the 3rd Reich that I've seen because its from the perspective of the German people. "This isn't the story of how Hitler seized power. This is the story of how and why the German people gave it to him.

In the beginning, apathy kept their mouths shut. In the end, fear (often of their own children) kept their mouths shut.
The Reichstag fire is a perfect example of the apathy. Many didn't believe the story but they weren't communists so they didn't care. Children threatening their parents with exposure to the gestapo is an example of the fear.
