The establishment hates it when real conservatives get nominated and then elected but boy do they stick by their side when they're worried about re-election. First Orrin Hatch votes in lockstep with Mike Lee to get re-elected, then recently Mitch McConnell starts palling around with Rand Paul in getting behind Paul's hemp bill, etc., now Cornyn is sticking with Ted Cruz. I'll bet Lindsay Graham will always be waiting for Tim Scott to vote before voting himself.

Isn't it amazing who the real leaders are. Not the go-along, get-along compromisers, but the hard-line, true believers. Yet McConnell supported Greyson over Paul and Cornyn supported Dewhurst over Cruz and Specter over Toomey and Crist over Rubio. And remember Specter wanted Santorum's endorsement when he was trying to get re-elected, and DeMint's endorsement of Toomey six years later brought Specter down.

It is the conservatives who have the real influence in the Senate, and their influence is growing. And neither the republicans nor the democrats like it (unless they're trying to get re-elected of course)!

Anyone who think Cornyn is a moderate has a screw loose. He would have to move far to the right to be moderate.

We Texas voters have sent a strong message to lackluster republicans. When we rebuked David Dewhurst the establishment here went into shock. One marked example is how John Cornyn has suddenly seen the light and has fallen to his knees to ask forgiveness. All of a sudden I get responses to my emails after years of silence!!!

A conservative replacement for Cornyn would be welcome!! And, it would give Texas a real edge in the Senate with TWO genuine conservatives!!

If there’s another Ted Cruz out there, it’s time for him to make his move!!
