There are times when someone says something so incredibly stupid that it just begs to be shared. Such is the case with the Democratic Minority Leader in the House of Representatives, Madam Nancy Pelosi. She was on Fox News yesterday and she actually had the nerve to come out and say what is no doubt the prevailing opinion of the liberal wing of her party. I just can't believe she said it on national TV.

On Sunday, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) took to Fox News Sunday to explain that America does not have a spending problem. “It is almost a false argument to say that we have a spending problem. We have a budget deficit problem,” Pelosi insisted.Of course, Nancy Pelosi is only stating what we already know. President Obama point-blank told John Boehner that he was getting tired of hearing we had a spending problem, making it clear he did not believe that to be the case. This begs a question to be asked of the liberal Democrats. If they refuse to see how out of control government spending is destroying our country, how can they honestly negotiate an agreement to stop and repair said damage? The answer is simply a resounding, WE CAN'T! We can blame John Boehner for the lack of productive negotiations with the Democrats, I have done so myself, but in reality, how is he supposed to negotiate with an addict who refuses to admit they have a problem? More and more, I am convinced that this particular crop of Democrats can not be negotiated with.

My sister-in-law doesn’t have a spending problem. If the credit card companies would just given her a new card every time she maxed out the last one she would be fine. But those selfish, greedy, uncaring companies decided that 7 or 8 cards was all they wanted to let her have. They should be shut down (because my sister-in-law can get all the credit she wants if we just kill the credit card companies - liberal logic is wonderful)

I have an old friend (now reformed 20 years) who went to the VA because he was so sick he would die soon. They told him the intravenous meth use he had practiced for the past 27 years was destroying his liver, an that he had a drug and alcohol problem he was going to have to deal with.
His reply was “I don’t have a drug problem, I have a liver problem.”
