I always personally felt the way to confiscate arms is to go into a small town, declare that all guns must immediately be turned in on pain of death!

Then institute a house to house search, find a gun kill the owner.

Then roll on to the next town. You will then find most all the guns piled in the street.

Wives do have a way of convincing their husbands to do it.

I agree with your premise about the small town compliance with weapons. This is essentially the strategy of the ATF with Ruby Ridge and Waco. We "the public" sees that they are willing to shoot mothers in the head, burn women and children alive, bulldoze evidence and not have any serious consequences except for the Oklahoma City bombing.

This just pitted the feds against the "rest of us". It's already an us vs them thing with LEO and all the alphabet agencies that are Spec Op wannabees.

The real way of fighting this is having patriots in the agencies and operator communities. There may be some fratricide and THAT will be the MOST effective deterrent. Not open fratricide but even informational fratricide ... ambush, booby traps etc.
