I always viewed the Amish comments more as a inner-city/criminal versus country/law-abiding commentary, not a racial one. Amish are largely a law abiding group, so to call lawbreakers 'Amish' has an irony. If you spot 'racism' in *that*, you might be imagining the world as you actually are.
Personally, I don't see the world in terms of race, so I am not quick to jump to racial conclusions.
As far as your comment that 'we are on the wrong side of history' when it comes to homosexuality, then I guess God is 'on the wrong side of history' too. ALL major religions view homosexuality as an abomination. Further, other cultures have embraced homosexuality, and promptly collapsed. Nossir, history actually shows YOU are on the wrong side of history.
So, based on the above: One that shows that the racism you percieve may actually be the racism you possess, and the other that shows that you are in an embrace of the perversion of society, I have to agree.
