We could not save you no matter how much of our blood and treasure we expended because the vast majority of you refused to fight for your freedom. You thought we would stay forever and bleed for your foreign bank accounts and freedom. Yours was the most corrupt government, military and general populance I ever had the misfortune of witnessing but yet I defended it as ordered by my country. You now reap the efforts your countrymen made to defend you.
I guess you mean John Kerry. I’ve always thought leftists like him believe in the concept of Communism. That’s not to say that they condone the human rights violations in countries like Vietnam, they just believe that Communism is improperly implemented there, and given the chance, they would do a better job.
What they don’t realize is that IS the inevitable conclusion of a system that treats the individual as a mere servant of the state.
