Life in Ho Chi Minn City—I will never set foot there, will I buy anything made in their sweat shops. For all I care the Chinese can have the place and enslave the whole population. Hey, they defeated the French and the USA—lets see how they do the Red Chinese! Unlike us, the Chinese will have no mercy.

The problem with these single-party regime is there is no accountability. Those in power will do whatever it takes to stay in power and there’s never any incentives to change. However, given what happened during the Arab Spring, there is hope that pressure from within these countries and pressure from the rest of the world will help improve the democracy situation there.
