The most stunning part of the legislation, however, is its removal of criminal penalties for abortions after 24 weeks by adding a broad health exception. Currently, late-term abortions are allowable when carrying the fetus to term poses a danger to the mothers life. This was what Mitt Romney ran on, and the libertarian position is much worse, than this.
CBS News interview, August 27, 2012:
PELLEY: Well, the platform as written at this convention for the Republicans does not allow for exceptions on abortion with regard to the health of the mother or rape or incest. Is that where you are?
ROMNEY: No. My position has been clear throughout this campaign. Im in favor of abortion being legal in the case of rape and incest, and the health and life of the mother.

If I'm not mistaken, Romney clarified his Statement to Rape, Incest and the Life of the Mother. He said he misspoke about the Mother's Health, (which would include anything from Headaches to Hemorrhoids).
Of course this whole exercise is futile. The die is cast and a majority of our fellow Citizens (and a whole bunch of Illegals) think Obama is the future of America.
All this crap happening and Obama has a 50% Approval Rating? We are doomed. Stupid has won the day.
