What are you? A Mormon?

Romney sucked in every way as a candidate and while he played full contact in the primaries he went all mamby pamby on Obama.

In fact, he was so bad he was a drag down ticket making us lose what should have been a slam dunk for gaining a majority in the Senate and a super majority in The House.

His religion was moot for most and those who stayed home saw him for what he is.

A self serving jackass, who bled the field dry so he ascend to the White House.

But who knew how much support Barry was going to get, as an incumbent, selling his cap product

Yeah, only Romney’s product sucked to and the packaging did as well.

So people stayed home and I nearly wrote in my own choice. It was only at the last minute that I voted for that Jack Wagon.

We need unity and leave the blame game to the enemy.

Sounds like something Rove would push.

Unity means absolutely nothing if we elect Statists. Just because they have an R means nothing.

I voted for Romney, but I will never again vote for a RINO. The elites hate Conservatives and should not be rewarded with our votes.

We are too far along the road to a Socialist H*ll to state that electing a Statist Republican the likes of Christie or the Bush's will make any difference.

The split with the GOP-e should now be permanent.

Unity? The GOP-e pukes like hearing that talk.

I must give you credit. To this day I still don't know exactly what that product was he was selling. I think that hurt him as well.

People continuing to empower the GOP get exactly what they deserve. I don’t know how many times the GOP has to rub their noses in it. I guess next time will be different. Perhaps after they give away the 2A they will get tough.

No, there were districts that had 140% of the registered voters voe, others had higher.
When you have, say, 230,000 registered voters and 250,000 or higher vote there is an issue.
A clear need for voter ID laws is shown.
But we’re told that’s racist.

While I appreciate your points, it had ZERO to do with Romney’s faith. It had to do with the GOP elite, yet again, nominating a feckless, flip-flopping, spineless, idiot.

We are getting close to that point where you can’t both be a Conservative and a Republican. Me? I choose Conservative.

"Race had less to do with it than that, otherwise Alan West would still be a Congressman"

No, because Allen West isn't even viewed as black by other blacks. His conservatism makes him a whole 'nother animal.

Blacks, as well as whites who are eaten up with guilt and self hatred, just couldn't bring themselves to vote against Obama.

Just because they have an R means nothing.

Exactly! I'm not an R vs D type of guy. I'm God and America first and above all else and the only way that can happen is through Conservatism.

I voted against Obama. Normally when I vote against the democrat and not for the republican, it's a sure sign the republican will lose. It happened in 2008 when I voted against Obama and it happened in 1996 when I voted against Bill Clinton and it happened again in 2012.

If you have to vote against the democrat instead of for the republican, it's a sure bet that the republican will lose. Happens everytime.

You can discount human nature at your own peril. It is ironic that this vanity calls for unity when Romney was so arrogant as to think he could stomp candidates into the ground and all their supporters would vote for him because of Obama.

Maybe you and I personally were motivated that way, but Romney only had to lose a few million votes from 2008 and he did.

I don’t take your reasoning that people put party ahead of their family seriously.

We lost the election due to rigid concepts over religion so Romney s faith kept voters home.

I'm sure that was the excuse many used, but I'd be surprised if that was the majority reason.

Romney has several records by which to judge him and predict what he'd do in office.

While I came to believe in the quality of his basic humanity and that he's probably a much better human than I am, while I believe he would have turned much of our economic mess around, I was equally sure he'd advance progressive causes almost as well as the demonrats will.

As most rinos do, a President Romney would:

a) improve the economic mess the demonrats made,
b) create several new powerful and answerable to no one alphabet agencies, then
c) lose to the demonrats in 4 or 8 years, who would
d) immediately turn the now improved and even bigger and more powerful FED against us.

Check the record. This is the cycle the "two" parties have used against us and there was no reason to believe otherwise about Romney.

Besides, he sucked as a candidate unless he was campaigning against conservatives. I'm surprised he did as well as he did.

That's exactly my point. It's the ideology and not the race.

Actually a number of Americans did fight for the British - so-called Tories or Loyalists. We call them traitors, like Benedict Arnold. Or now, RINOs.

Single-thought, low-information vanities suck.

This could have easily been a comment on any number of existing threads, and I will leave aside the thought that your premise is completely flawed, to begin with.

Yes, but it’s better for the GOP to have sycophants post new threads so that their propaganda value will keep people second guessing themselves as to the worth of continuing to support their biggest problem: A party that refuses to support them.

Romney lost because people figured out that voting is easier than working.

Had nothing to do with working...Had to do with surviving...

Romney had no plan to get people back to work...

We lost the election because the moochers, looters and inner city tribal parasites outnumber the producers. You can’t beat Santa Claus. And after 0bama grants citizenship to all the criminal invaders who will all vote dim, there will never be another Republican POTUS.

Romney lost because he is a liberal. Not because of his faith.

That's BS. It is because of blind butt holes that could not distinguish between one who would turn America into a dictatorship and the other that was a firm Constitutionalists. Blind BS sunk our only chance to get out of the mess we are in. And we still have the same idiots roaming around with the same insanity.
