NBC is reporting that Adam Lanza did not take rifles inside Sandy Hook Elementary School. He did not use a rifle, deemed an "assault weapon" by the administration and media to kill and wound. To repeat, no rifles were found inside the school. Lanza reportedly had four handguns with him. How many of those handguns were used in the killings isn't known, or at least is not included in this report. (NBC video linked below)
The correspondent [in the video below] makes it clear over and over again that he confirmed this information with federal and state officials. Now, a lot of media reports contradict this one, but somebodys lying. The report that an AR-15-style assault rifle was in the trunk of murderer Adam Lanzas car is up for dispute as well. If one examines footage from police breaking into Lanzas car, one sees police clearing a round from a long gun of some type that does not appear to be AR-15 style or assault-style.Whether or not the mainstream media are intentionally spreading disinformation about the Sandy Hook elementary tragedy, there is one thing for certain: not only are violent crime rates at a modern low and going down, but only 323 homicides were committed by rifles in 2011. That includes hunting rifles, assault rifles, military style rifles, semi-automatic rifles and whatever label one comes up with, regardless of magazine or clip capacity.
In a nation of 311 million people, the odds of being killed by a rifle is about one homicide per million people, which is far less than the odds of being murdered by a blunt object. (Read more at the link above)
See the video of the "long gun" here.
The video is from the day after, using information from unnamed sources.
how about posting a direct link to those without giving your blog a hit?
If you’re serious about this, it should be no problem.
Hope you have flame-proof panties, because you’re going to need them
We’ll never get the truth.....
obamma lies about everything. he is very ugly
How many times do we have to see this same unconfirmed and likely misleading “story”. There was a shotgun in the car, not the Bushmaster.
Everything is chaotic initially, and usually wrong. Just remember 9/11 and how wrong the initial info and guesses were. The initial, incorrect information almost always spurs conspiracy theories.
I left out the link to Kyle Becker, which was directly underneath the Lanza photo (which I do not post here). I missed the html when copying over. It was not my intention to do that.
If Lanza had been a Muslim Obama would have shrugged it all off.
My headline indicated no rifles were used in the murders, as reported by NBC. Any rifles in the auto is a side story.
I kept saying no rifles and freepers kept saying I was wrong
Oh geeze, this conspiracy crap again.
Initial reporting is often if not usually wrong.
Please don't post outdated information. That video was from the day after the shootings, and since then we have the coroner's report and the Connecticut State Police investigation that confirmed that a Bushmaster brand Modern Sporting Rifle, a Glock 10mm handgun, and a Sig 9mm handgun was found inside the school, and a 12 gauge shotgun was found in the trunk of the car.

Waiting for any school surveillance pictures from the front door.
yeah but they were “fully automatic military style assault handguns with oversize magazines “, or so we will be told.../sarc
As I said in an earlier comment, the story is about handguns used in the murders, not rifles, as reported. The title makes that clear.
I'm taking that to mean, no children killed with rifles, no rifles inside school, and Lanza used handguns.
Conservative sources are becoming more and more untrustworthy, as they become more and more common and diluted.
