I heard Schieffer ‘go off’ on Bush once .... it was nasty, it was spiteful, it was personal, the venom was dripping and to this day, if he comes on, the channel changes or the TV goes off. Schieffer has no claim whatsoever to being called a “journalist”. He’s a Leftist character assassinator .... what they try to do to all decent conservatives to make them totally unpalatable and unelectable... rip them to shreds personally to destroy them with nothing off limits. Regardless of Bush’s shortcomings, he as a human being, a decent man (as opposed to Obama who is not even marginally decent) trying to do a difficult job, in no way deserved Schieffer’s venomous, personal ‘shredding’.
