I have to disagree with you on that one. Just because someone doesn't have a wheel chair doesn't mean they don't have difficulties. If I had a chair I could park at the back of the lot and not worry about whether I could make it to the front door or not.
There are days when I feel good enough to park anywhere and I do. Then there are days when I'm not sure I can get back inside the car once I step out of it. A visible, evident injury or wound should not be the only consideration for a parking placard. I've had people tell me I don't look disabled and I tell them they don't look ignorant. Looks can be deceiving.
