With Republicans now controlling a good number of the governorships and state legislatures as they do, it's time to repeal early voting in states where it exists so we can minimize opportunities for 'Rat fraud and cheating.
This year there was a lot of chatter about introducing voter ID cards, which is another good idea, but not one state legislator I know of has come forward to support the repeal of early voting in his state. What's so scary about repealing early voting? It's an open invitation for election fraud!!!
We’ve got a rock solid SOS in Michigan. Unfortunately we have a governor who often leaves her twisting in the wind.
The governor refused to sign the bill that put a simple citizenship checkbox on the ballot application but the SOS did it anyway. Naturally the courts blocked it right before the election.
Like our must ask ID law, people claim it doesn’t mean anything but making them sign an affidavit declaring that they are who they claim and that they’re a legal voter does help quite a bit. This citizenship check box was the same sort of deal. The affidavit is effectively a signed confession if it gets caught.
The day after the election, Obama’s de-facto DREAM act illegals protested the secretary of state for refusing to give them driver’s licenses. They claimed not having an ID made them feel like they were being singled out if they tried to (illegally) vote. SOS Ruth Johnson informed them that Obama had created their legal limbo and that they needed to take it up with him because its not her problem.
I read that Obama did not win any state that required voter ID. Don’t know if it’s true, but it wouldn’t surprise me.
If only Romney looked into voter fraud, but I guess he only wants to fight with Republicans.
