Couple of other bits of info, all from Keegan's Mom I believe, although Grandma Iris has already given y'all the bottom line from today's surgery.

They did a blood gas today, His hemacrit (oxygen carrying cells) were low so he is gonna need a blood transfusion.

So mom shouldnt answer the phone when she is still half asleep... Yes he is getting blood today and yes he is still on the books for surgery... sorry for any confusion I might have caused

well surgery officially started and will take bout an hour
...
And done

The neurosurgeon just came in to talk with us. Said the surgery went well and we should start to notice his head getting better in the next couple days

This Old Cat is feeling more postitive, and I felt pretty positive about the surgery yesterday when I found out about it.
