Really Ann? You mean Romney's one debate bests Reagan's decades of advocacy for conservatism, his battles with the Republican establishment, and his building a conservative movement? Fact is Romney has done nothing for conservatism. I repeat, nothing. No leadership. No grassroots efforts. No major policy initiatives. Nothing. Reagan won two landslides. Romney won nothing. Cherry-picking facts Ann, in some strange cult-like obsession, fools no one. Same with your cheerleading for Chris Christie.
No, aside from you sounding like a chick trying to personalize a political discussion, a difference between us is that I am trying to advance conservatism and end Romney’s disastrous influence on the GOP, and you are fighting to maintain it, to keep it alive, to maintain whatever obstacles to conservatism that you can find.
Romney is still your man, the election is over, yet you still strive to advance him and his agenda.
Besides, your way is far more fun as you can sit there in your ivory tower pointing fingers at those who actually are willing to do the work.
Where do you get the idea I am trying to promote Romney? The election is over and while it is important to try to learn from losses, I will say it again, I despised Obama more than Romney and you despise Romney more than Obama and you're proud of it.
Where do you come up with these wacky ideas?
I don't know if Romney is superior to Reagan
LOL, Romney is the ANTI-Reagan.

Even now, after the election, the marginalization of Palin, the pulling of the wagons around Romney, and the call for promoting everyone to be devoted purely to whoever the ticket is in 2016(meaning allow us to give you another rino), are all the same rino agenda you were pushing before your side gave us Obama again.
Do you really believe that both Palin and Romney will be running again? What are you smoking?
Palin has never run, and Romney is an influence that has to be removed from republican politics, Palin’s influence needs to be increased, Romney’s totally removed.
The opposite of your agenda.
Like I said, where do you come up with these wacky ideas?
This could be fun observing the primary season between Romney and Palin. Somehow, I doubt you'll get Romney to go along with the idea. He had his chance and I will be surprised if Palin runs. Why would she? She's not this stupid as she could observe what all happened to Romney. There isn't going to be enough left to fight over.
You just do anything to slip off the topic.
The goal now is to increase Palin and tea party influence, and decrease, to cut-off, Romney and Rovian influence.
So this wacky thinking is all about Palin? What if she doesn't run? Isn't it a little early to be focusing on one single candidate?
Weird, you keep posting about Palin running, I guess you do that to avoid having to address the incredible leadership and effectiveness she is giving to the conservative movement.
I ask you? Why do you keep promoting and protecting Romney if you think he is gone, history, why does it bother you so to see the truth posted about that disaster of a man?
A man who hurt conservatism, who despised Reagan, a man who if he gains a voice in the GOP can continue to hurt conservatism?
Are we going to start this Palin worship all over again? We have 3 years to go before we have to start worrying about this and like I have said repeatedly, I believe it really doesn't matter as I do not expect to have another free election and there's something important for you to remember--you, and many others here on FR believed you were justified in taking your ball and going home because you did not approve of Romney. Well, don't be surprised if there are those who feel the same way about Palin and refuse to support her if she is the nominee. Everyone is conditioned to demand that if their idea of perfection is not chosen as the candidate that means taking one's ball and going home.
LOL, slick, but dishonest.
You keep trying to avoid Palin and Romney both, in the context of my conversation, by pretending that we are talking about them on the 2016 ticket.
Romney is an influence that has to be removed from republican politics, Palins influence needs to be increased, Romneys totally removed.
The opposite of your agenda.
Right now, if were conservative, then you would be doing everything that you can to diminish Romney’s voice and influence, and you would be doing everything that you can to increase the voice and influence of Governor Palin, and the tea party.
The opposite of your agenda.
Palin has one heck of a long way to go before she becomes relevant. She is no different from the many others who have been mentioned as possibilities in 2016 but frankly, I'm not interested in any of them. I mourn the loss of my country and I consider it dead.
Romney is relevant as the last candidate, Romney is the leader of the rinos, and the guy who just ran for president, and he hates conservatism, he will have a loud and prominent voice in the party for the rino class, that is why many freepers here are still propping him up and defending him, to make his statements carry weight.
Mitt’s influence has to be destroyed.
Palin is relevant as the leader and voice of conservatism, and the leader of the Reagan wing of the GOP, and as the most influential endorsement and campaigner in America for 4 years running.
The only sunshine during Mitt’s 2012 disaster, were Palin’s wins in the Senate, giving us our only Senate seat pick up, and giving us Ted Cruz instead of Dewhurst, and of course her other races.
If Palin is going to continue this extraordinarily positive influence, and relevancy, then we need to fight to protect her voice and power, we need her desperately in 2014 to help us recover from some of this Romney debacle.
We need more Palin influence, more Palin input, more Palin victories, Palin and the tea party are our key to victory in 2014, and in shaping 2016.
You need help.
You need to read post 115, and lay off the rinosim, the election is over, at least give conservatism some lip service for a few months.
Well, I don’t disagree with you per se, but there is no way any of the GOP candidates could have won with the electorate that turned out this month. Not Pawlenty, not Santorum, not Gingrich, not Perry, none of them. Yes, if we had someone who projected some combination of cool conservatism, perhaps. But the reason the GOP lost was mostly due to Dem turnout issues and some demographic issues. In the future, we have to play their game as well. Go to our key GOP constituencies and turn them out in as high a numbers. Evangelical churches, for one. Turnout should be 100% for at these churches to counter the 100% turnout in black precincts. Etc.
You are dull and boring. Get help.
I hold AC in the same arena as Hannity. Both love to act like democrats by shouting and speaking in metaphors!
I refuse to listen to either.
