I love Daniel Day-Lewis.
He is a very talented actor.
I will not be paying to see “Lincoln”.
If I want to see the truth of the conscripts and riots, I’ll watch him in “Gangs Of New York”, instead.

His performance in Gangs of New York is amazing! He's a splendid, over-the-top, fun actor and, ordinarily, I'd love to see his Lincoln. But after what Spielberg did to the beautiful story of “War Horse,” I wouldn't go near this possible piece of dreck.

DDL hasn’t really done much and it’s been 20 years since “Last of the Mohicans”, a great movie.
My husband is interested in this Lincoln movie - he’s a Yankee with military forebears thereof - and he’s a movie nut so seeing a Spielberg movie is something he’d naturally do.
I’m sure he figures I’m not really hep on it. Not a fan of either.
