I used to like doing the NYT crosswords - used to be the only reason left to buy the newspaper.
Now I print them off http://puzzles.about.com/od/beginnersxwords/a/tuenytxwords.htm
You can also try the local library - they might be willing to give you yesterday’s paper free.
Go to Amazon and buy the 1000-puzzle NYT books—daily & Sunday. They’re not spiral-bound, so tear out the pages to do the even-numbered sides. Take them with you. They’re great for waiting in lines.
Thanks for the link. I stopped getting the local paper that had the NY Times Sunday crossword in it and missed it. I started getting it from my parents until my constant harrassment of them for supporting our local liberal rag finally paid off and they cancelled their subscription, too. Of course, it cost me my NY Times crosswords, but a small price. And now, no price at all.
If you know of it link to NYT Sunday crosswords, please ping me.
