You may be more correct than I. Like John the Baptist crying in the wilderness and carrying the message of the coming of the Messiah so too will the anti-Christ will have a messenger.
I don’t think one has to be ‘smart’ to be the anti_christ.....I think they only need to be indwelled by the prince of darkness
