The first problem is that those types of changes can be implemented through regulations and without Congressional oversight.

I can't help but wonder if the GOP doesn't intentionally like to keep these issues hanging over our heads. My congressman introduced H.R.750 - Defending America's Affordable Energy and Jobs Act back in February of 2011 and it hasn't even made it to committee yet despite having over 100 co sponsors.

H.R.750 - Defending America's Affordable Energy and Jobs Act To preempt regulation of, action relating to, or consideration of greenhouse gases under Federal and common law on enactment of a Federal policy to mitigate climate change.

If we've learned anything about the current POTUS, it's that he's incredibly stubborn, displays an unsettling tendency towards zealotry and is unable/unwilling to learn from past mistakes.

Once you realize his goal is the enslavement of the world, the destruction of Western Civilization in general and the US in particular, everything The Won does makes perfect sense.
