...wouldn’t it have been a great benefit to Obama to be able to tout how he had thwarted the terrorists and saved American and Lybia lives by giving the order for our military to “go get em”? But he didn’t.

I think the answer lies in "Dreams From My Father", something to the effect of "I will stand with the Muslims".

At first, I thought Obama's damage to our country would come by way of his narcissism and his afro-centrism. As time went by, I began to feel that these very harmful outcomes would be exceeded by his anti-capitalist beliefs.

Since Libya, Egypt, and now Benghazi, it is clear to me that the most harm will come from his islamo-centrism.
