After a humiliating performance in court, over two days, it looks like Gloria Allred will leave Massachusetts without a bimbo to trot around this time.
Allred came to court to get the gag order on her client, the wife of the founder of Staples, lifted. The gag order prevents her client from discussing the details of her divorce in the early 90s, where Mitt Romney offered testimony in support of the husband. Allred left court empty handed.
Over Allred's pathetic pleas, the attorney from the Boston Globe agreed to Staple's stipulation settling the matter - leaving the gag order intact. At one point, Allred was actually heard begging the Boston Globe attorney to turn down the offer, yelling "please!" The answer? No. Thus the stipulation was signed, and Allred's client was silenced. In effect, the Boston Globe threw Allred under the bus.
The angst on the radical left was immediately evident. David Corn, of Mother Jones, desperately tweeted "How did Allred let that happen? Was there a screw-up?"
In the end, Allred ended up with nothing more than a 20 year old piece of paper and nobody to talk about it.
UPDATE: Allred now claims that the Boston Globe "double-crossed" her.
Coming Sunday in the Boston Globe: Part One of a twenty page expose on Supah Lawyah Gloria Allred...
I think Allred didn’t realize who she was messing with this time.
I’m sure there’s some cement shoes that are just the right size for Allred somewhere to assist her in her descent back to Hell.
Sheesh, Gloria. I just hate it when things don’t go your way, ya know? I guess what happens in Massachusetts stays in Massachusetts...as usual?
I won’t lie. As I posted in another thread or two on the subject, I was pretty worried about this. It looked like a big setup to do only one thing, and obviously that was to hurt Mitt Romney. Fortunately, it looks like there may have been a few less people in on it than I thought, and for that I am very happy.
David Corn is an idiot. He should stick to the only job he is good at, especially this time of year, and that’s posing on the box of Frankenberry cereal.
Tee-hee!
Gloria is getting the whip from President Empty Chair now,,”GLORIA! You have 11 days to come up with something for me. DO IT!!”
I am sure Gloria has sniffed under every rock trying to find some past employee of the Romney’s who would be happy to be paid to say “Mr Romney” made me “uncomfortable.”
Too bad the current bimbo didn’t work out. I think it’s hilarious in so many ways. The hateful ex gets slapped AGAIN! Now, will she in turn sue Gloria like she did her previous attorney?
Pass the popcorn PLEASE?!
Thank you Lord for watching over this candidate and this country.
Gonna party like it's November 7, 2012!
Couldn’t have happened to a more deserving “attorney” -— take that Ms. Allred.
Last night Great talked to Trump and asked him about Allred. He said she was a “terrible” lawyer and totally without credibility, a “third rate lawyer”.
boo friggin' hoo
It’s always entertaining to watch a lib whine and moan when they don’t get their way.
Publicity whore FAIL
The problem for AllRed climbing to the top of her garbage heap is that every single rung of the ladder she stepped on will hurt like a bitch as she falls back down, taking each one in the posterior as she goes.
Bummer.
I'd love to see the actual link to that statement and send it to Breitbart, etc. If she really said that, she just admitted that she and the Globe were in cahoots all along. After all, you can't have a double cross without a deal already in place.
(And, yes, I realize it was obvious they were in cahoots. However, having that admission would be great. It's always better to be able to prove what you know.)
Find the video... she said it in her presser after the hearing.
“what happens in Massachusetts stays in Massachusetts...as usual” LOL!! Love it! :-D
lol....Mrs. McSkankybitch gets smacked down.
I can’t stand that hag: she’s exactly like my step-mother.
