Gloria Allred rumored to have dirt that will sink Romney campaign

Does outspoken Obama supporter Gloria Allred really have an “October surprise” in the works that will sabotage Mitt Romney’s run for the White House, or is the rumor, first published by the Drudge Report, all wet? Inquiring minds want to know.

Another website named The Red Side of Life, Conservative Musings from New York is quoted as having written:

Don’t underestimate Gloria Allred’s ability to inflict damage. The media will ‘eat up’ anything she feeds them and turn it into an endless scandal. Recall she took down Cain and RINO Whitman with NO EVIDENCE.

Don’t underestimate these slimey people — look what they pinned on Herman Cain — and all done at the last minute.

Allred’s bag of quarters won’t cover what Romney will sue her for.

Nobody cares about Romney’s testimony in somebody else’s divorce.

Especially if the Obama’s are busy denying their own near divorce, to be announced by Trump.

It’s not the content of what she says that matters, it’s the theater. All the flashing cameras. The huddled reporters. The grieving victim. It all works.

Exactly.

Best Ive seen so far is a problem with his testimony as to the value of shares in Staples.

Valerie Jarrett’s ex-father-in-law (and friend of Obama’s “friend” Frank Marshall Davis) Vernon Jarrett was a big deal at the Chicago Tribune.

Romney misled the court as to the value of Staples

How are they going to prove that?

The value of a privately-held company is, at best, speculation.

Besides, if the value of the company were at issue in the divorce, each side would have expert witnesses testify about value.

If that is all they have, then it's all smoke and mirrors.

“But Allred has a history of taking out political folks on less.”

I’d have to say that it’s only with a complicit media that allows her to succeed.

I’d also have to say that unless there are serious charges and real smoking guns to any revelations at this late in the game that most people will see through it as nothing more than dirty campaigning at this point and probably have no impact.

I will see your Alred and raise you a Trump!

What if Trump finally drops the nuclear bomb on 0dogeater? It seems like any of these trivial matters of Romneys past would be small potatoes.

That may be it... from a four-year old article about a then three year old divorce case... in which the divorce proceedings and appeals went beyond the time Staples went public... yet she received not one extra penny. Yawn... and they just now decided to look into the testimony given by Romney? It will take far longer than the two weeks left to sort anything out in either direction. If Romney were worried about this, it would have been out there already debunked/explained during the nastiness of the primary season.

I don’t want to think about if this happens to derail Romney’s path to the White House and ends up re-electing Obama. Being laid off from my 30-year job last month and then this, I am not sure how I would react.

This is my understanding as well.

One has to admit that Gloria Allred really has a nose for Republican dirt.

I hate to be a downer since I’m still relatively new here.
I just think we need to take this a little more seriously.

From everything I have read, they are leaving this in the
hands of a liberal judge who was appointed by an Axelrod crony. The judge is also female... Now I have no problem with female judges, but there is going to be an enormous amount of pressure on her to stand with the pretend “War on Women”, and if she’s a liberal she’s probably already with them. This has to be something that’s been in the works for a long time. I will stop short of saying the judge has already made her decision, because that’s an extremely serious charge that I cannot make, but this whole things stinks to high heaven.

This is the kind of pressure that NOBODY has ever put on Obama, whose mere associations cry out for this kind of pressure, and it’s all being dumped in Mitt Romney’s lap with less than two weeks to go. Almost every professional voice you hear in the days to come will be a voice trying to bring Romney down.
