Did they feature Miller at the convention? If so, I missed it. Anyway, Romney delivered those lines with almost professional skill. And it WAS a roast. How did Obama do?
Actually that “joke” was a backhanded swipe at all Americans. He can’t use his middle name because we’re all such bigots. FUBO!
Yeah he was, I saw him laughing, he covered his mouth. He probably realized he was being caught on camera laughing, and tried to stifle himself.
Miller is a good-looking Don Rickles, or Bob Hope with real bite.
Bingo!
I have to admit, Coulter may have been on to something.
Sad to say.......The evil Obama comes from a from a useless father that was a drunk, womanizer, communist, female abuser and hater of the British Empire and Winston Churchill. The mother was a nutcase, socialist, but worse then that....she was like the village bicycle....everyone had a ride!!! The acorn does not fall far from the tree. if you folks out there think Obama has love for America, you are drinking far too much Kool-Aid, are insane....or, just high on drugs!!!
FDR would have laughed his head off, and come up with some sharp retorts for the press after the dinner.
The fellow has risen high from those times but the roots won’t let him go.
I would feel sorry for him of he was not such a worthy adversary.
I wonder what Chrissy thought of Obamas’ joke about him.
Obama learned from all his parents and guardians, how to schmooze and use.
Laugh out loud funny—especially the Bill Clinton line. I also liked his “there’s more to life than politics.”
This is funny stuff!!! Who knew Mitt could do standup like that? But the best part was the reaction shots of Obama. Did you see him? Obama HATED it! LOL! This was very smart of Mitt to do a roast of His Majesty. Now Obama will be so pissed at the next debate that he may really make some big blunders. Go Mitt!!
When I saw the red face I thought so too. Was that Katie “what publications do you read?” Couric behind Romney on his right? Whoever it was was trying very hard not to laugh on occasion.
Miller should be Romney’s press secretary.
>>My favorite was Romney’s joke about the clothes that he and his wife wear around the house.
Not quite my favorite, but excellent for sure, and delivered in the first few seconds set things up nicely for what followed.
My own favorite was the line about the MSM headlines tomorrow:
“Obama embraced by Catholics; Romney dines with rich guys.”
Interesting analysis.
