I agree! I am shopping for my family weekly and every week i spend more and get less. I’v noticed it for awhile now. Groceries higher, cable higher, electricity higher, gas higher, clothes higher, paycheck less. this is the reason my family suffers. And the cherry on top is my house is worth less!!
PS - as a smart friend of mine pointed out, mass-printing of food stamps has got to be contributing to food inflation as well. You are paying with your earnings; someone else is paying with funny money. This has got to be inflating food prices in the same way that government meddling inflates the cost of education, cost of health care, etc.
