You know, if Romney would talk about the skyrocketing price of groceries instead of just the price of gas, he would score a home run. My wife does most the grocery shopping and has sticker shock - every week portions get smaller and prices are higher.

My take on this is that we need to add a new phrase to the lexicon: "Obama-size It!" Definition: reduce product size by 1/3 and charge 1/3 more.

Anyone who shops to support a family know that our economy has been Obama-sized.

Amen Puddleglum! I do the grocery shopping in our household, and I did a double-take just yesterday when picking up a few groceries. It gets worse every shopping trip I make.

It's obvious that over the past three or so years, so many products have been reduced in size, yet they now cost MUCH more, as you said.

Thanks for the ping! I really think this is a winning issue - it is the elephant in the room of the US economy and if Romney would sympathize and promise to work to fix it, it would motivate the middle class in droves.
