I got rid of electric coffeemakers many years ago, and use Chemex drip:

I’m looking at a Keurig System...

...but price of entry is steep and per cup costs are 3-5x what I can do w/ Chemex. I can brew better coffee than Keurig or any other maker. Turkish grind is the key to flavor; drip is so much better. And it works in SHTF. Electric makers just become doorstops.

Don’t buy a Keurig, they are expensive. There are all kinds of one cup makers out there now. Saw one at Big Lots for $15 recently. And you don’t have to use their coffees. You can use a solocup or cafe cup and use any coffee you want in them.
