Then I can't understand why Petraeus would brief the Congressional Committee that it was a protest gone awry over a video, when their was real time evidence to the contrary. Somebody put politic’s over the facts at hand, and I can't see what Petraeus stood to gain by such a scheme.

I am beginning to suspect the whole Benghazi affair was a planned “rally to the flag,” “September surprise” that backfired.

These colorless military bureaucrats aren’t really interesting. Petraeus could be just a unwitting if willing stooge.

No doubt the video story came right out of the White House with two hoped-for benefits: Sucking up to Muslims and attacking free speech.

Where is Robert Cardillo in this? He’s Deputy Director of Intelligence Integration for Petraeus.
