Apparently you don’t get out much. In many cases both parents work 10-12 hours per day. Why do you think America doesn’t hear much from conservatives? Because we’re working!

Maybe it’s just the churches I go to and the people I work with. Maybe it’s YOU that doesn’t get out much. ;-)
On the other hand, maybe we just hang out in different circles. Other than consulting, I have not had an “hourly” job since 1983. Nor were any of the people I worked with paid by the hour.
I went to a $2,300 COBOL computer course for 10 months in 1983. It got me out of retail sales and I never looked back.
Last factory I worked at, I did 12 hour days 7 days a week for 4 months. In the end it paid off because I made foreman in under 18 months.
