If you read the comment under the article, this is apparently a new “game” called “Knockout King”.
I’ve read about this happening before...where for no other reason a group of “youngsters” likes to go around knocking random pedestrians in the chops.
It’s not a new gane.
There’s another popular game, called Polar-Bearing, where they look for grey-haired men to knock out.
