You're right. Hillary went easy on Obama because she knew that if she insulted him in any way, she would lose the black vote...and she very much needed that vote.that would be foolish for her, as there is no way a white person - male or female would ever win any black votes over even the most stupid, effete black person.

She wasn't trying to win black votes over Obama but trying not to discourage them if she could beat Obama in the primary (which she actually did...before Obama stole he nomination from her).
