In all honesty, I wouldn’t have any problem with candidates bringing some reminder notes with them if they wanted to, especially if there’s a podium. It certainly would eliminate the pathetic picture of, for example, John McCain feverishly writing things down once he got to his seat.

I also noticed everytime Obama was spewing his lies and generalizations, Romney was very busy writing down notes. You could see the podium shaking.
