I actually don’t have any criticism of this criticism. Gilbert does appear to ride the conspiracy crazy train. I find his forays into this area of speculation to be not of any value.
Invoking CIA (or other similar organization) is an automatic notation in my “dubious credibility” book. Some people really want to believe that secret cabals are manipulating our lives.
He should have just stuck with the provable facts.
