Obama: 'If [Republicans] Want Me to Walk the Dog or Wash Their Car, I'm Happy to Do It' SEP 17, 2012 BY DANIEL HALPER In remarks earlier today in Cincinnati, Ohio, President Obama presented himself as willing "to work with [Republicans] to reduce the deficit." Indeed, the president stressed he was so commited to helping Republicans that he'd even "walk the dog or wash their car."
THE PRESIDENT: But they can't tell you how they're going to pay for it. And the truth is they can't pay for it without raising taxes on middle-class families.
But then, on top of that, they want to spend another $2 trillion in new military spending, they say, without adding to the deficit. But they don't tell you how they're going to do that. The only thing they can do is to keep trying to bluff their way through until November and hope that you wont call them on it.
But understand, Cincinnati -- look, I want to work with them to reduce the deficit. I've said if the Republicans need more love -- (laughter) -- if they want me to walk the dog or wash their car, I'm happy to do it. (Laughter.) And I genuinely believe that most Americans -- Democrats or Republicans -- they just want us to solve problems. (Applause.)

Why is it that only Republican’s have to “pay for it”? Obama, Pelosi and Reid ran up the National Debt faster than anybody by “not paying for it.”
I pray he will have plenty of free time after the election. What an Ass Hammer !
His comments are nonsense - which is why I believe he’s up to something that we’ll see unfold shortly.
Would NOT trust him with my dog!
Comments don’t show up for me. How do I enable them?
IT’s good that he has some skills. I wouldn’t want him to starve to death in 2013.
sorry, i wouldn’t hire him to wash my car or walk my dog
of course, he could help my dog exercise a bit by running in front of him ...
I think I read them elsewhere, where the article was first posted.
Hell, all he has to do to make me happy is resign.
Looks like Bammy is finally going to try and do an honest day's work.
