Any recommendations of a rifle and pistol that shoot either .22 and .22LR? I like the idea of cheap ammo and like the idea of a gun being able to use both types of ammo considering .22 ammo is dirt cheap.
I have an old Remington model 552 auto which will shoot shorts, longs, and Long rifles interchangeably and reliably.
It is not the most accurate rifle I have but it is still above average and every now and then it thinks it is a target rifle.
