Yes, it is possible. Rush Limbaugh has converted many with witticism and facts. That, however, is the exception, and he has the largest hammer in America.
I suspect that the return-on-investment will be much greater with independents and moderates. That is the lower-hanging fruit *I* am trying to pick. You, of course, can still focus on the tougher ones, and your hard-hitting writing might be just the higher-impact blunt instrument that works.

I’ve spent a career working with companies that were on a death spiral and they refused to see it. I can’t remember how many times the employees were all laid off and while holding thier box of cubicle crap in their hands in the parking lot one of them commented, “Well, WE did OUR job. It was someone elses fault for this.”

Something that makes them fear. They need to fear. Fear (of God) is the beginning of wisdom, I have read. They are shamelessly arrogant and pretend they have no fear. Bring the fear out, let them experience fear. This will act like a bucket of cold water. They need to see how THEY will suffer, THEY will starve, THEY will be beaten and raped and slaughtered. That the monster they created will EAT THEM.
