VDare is great, but I’m still hopeful that my twin essays (and the linkback to the SWJ piece) will be taken up by the Daily Beast, Wonkette, DU, HuffPo etc. My goal is to draw attention to the semi-official SWJ designating the Evil White Racist Tea Party Militia KKK Nazis as the new Official State Enemy, to be crushed by the U.S. Army in “a vision of the future.” That, plus a billion bullets for the DHS, SWAT Teams and APCs provided to every little town, the USMC “integrating” with PDs, etc.
It does no good to complain to our choir, and the Quisling Media will never broach the topic of creeping tyranny, since they are in love with the Uberstate.
So we need to bait the left into engaging. That’s why I wrote those two essays, Music and Coup. We need to toss them over the transoms of the leftist blogosphere until they notice, and are predictably horrified and outraged.
THEN we can force the national debate. Not until then. A thousand replies on WRSA and FR about Music, Coup and SWJ mean exactly zero.
I figured it could read zero as while the system is just a computer there still must be money someplace to back it up. At some point there cannot be because the participating federal reserve banks would simply no longer participate with EBT once there was nothing left of value to pay them for it.
Either way, the effect of the story remains: The country goes broke and the more than 50% receiving government checks no longer do so they go nuts.
I put prepping into even higher gear this summer. I had the opportunity to take the summer off and do a boatload of final preps, inlcuding refresher medical courses. I see sometime mid next year as the final act. We had best be prepared.

There are a ton of great replies on that SWJ thread. That is, until they locked them up. Too many readers were ready to hang the authors for treason.
Mainly, without getting technical, I felt that “flashed ERROR” worked better and more plausibly than “flashed zeroes.” But no matter how it happens, the music will stop. The French or Germans then or Zimbabwe today show that a govt printing trillions in “money” won’t prop up a collapsing state or a failed economy.

Liberals are tough nuts to crack. Would YOU be convinced to embrace liberal policies? That is the same level of resistance we face when we approach the left.
Yes, it is possible. Rush Limbaugh has converted many with witticism and facts. That, however, is the exception, and he has the largest hammer in America.
I suspect that the return-on-investment will be much greater with independents and moderates. That is the lower-hanging fruit *I* am trying to pick. You, of course, can still focus on the tougher ones, and your hard-hitting writing might be just the higher-impact blunt instrument that works.

I’ve spent a career working with companies that were on a death spiral and they refused to see it. I can’t remember how many times the employees were all laid off and while holding thier box of cubicle crap in their hands in the parking lot one of them commented, “Well, WE did OUR job. It was someone elses fault for this.”
Liberals do the exact same thing. Insanity: Doing Communism over and over but expecting different results.

Then, when it is an adult, you put a tiny, dainty decorative gold chain -- something so light, a child could snap it -- around the same leg, and you can lead it all around the circus stage. It looks down, sees the chain, and says to its self: "Welp. There's the chain. No escaping THAT. Guess I'll just obey."
If you allow yourself to be chained by preconceptions, then the battle is lost before the rifle is even loaded.
Is the success rate in turning liberals a high one? No, of course not. But let us not lose the battle by never trying at all. Remember, Rush has changed many.

Yeah, to what result? We still have a growing population of liberals, not a decreasing one. While you are working the chians the liberals are paying people off. Money means far more than words and they are spending like crazy.
Rush has solidified the conservative base. Over the years he was the one to educate people how to think, where to get information, and what was happening around them. For that, we have a strong conservative base that knows more than ever.
Rush did convert many liberals, but, again, the left has created many more. A finger in the dike example comes to mind.
If you are too exhausted to continue, rotate back to the rear for a bit and get your morale back up. But then, join us in the fight.

We deserve liberty in our lifetime and there is no political or financial trend to the positive for that. Results are measured by accomplishments, not effort.
As a local national politician once said, “While you write me 25,000 letters supporting your position, there is someone at lunch offering me $25,000 to ignore your demands every day of the week, and money talks louder than your words.”
Giving up on converting liberals, yep (It’s a waste of time), giving up on America, nope, far from it.
I don’t expect to convert any libtards. I just want to enlarge our side into the reachable middle. To do that, we need to engage the left in an open national debate on the creeping police state, a debate so loud and bitter that even the middle will finally take notice. That’s why I want my stuff and the SWJ essay thrown over the transoms of the left.
Tavis, your approach has many advantages:
It can solidly and educate the right even further, good result.
It can reach many of the “blind” and wake them up, good result, also hard to believe anyone could be ignorant about all this by now but there are those ignorant out there.
It can cause liberals to further implode and let people see them for what they really are, good result. (Which is also why any comments on getting rid of Zero over the past few years has met my resistance because Zero has done more to harm the leftist agenda than anyone.)
It documents our beliefs as has all your writings, good result.
Every bit helps, including yours, Laz, but my efforts need to go someplace else other than converting people. Simply put: Anyone ignorant of the facts now will only be getting in the way later.

Something that makes them fear. They need to fear. Fear (of God) is the beginning of wisdom, I have read. They are shamelessly arrogant and pretend they have no fear. Bring the fear out, let them experience fear. This will act like a bucket of cold water. They need to see how THEY will suffer, THEY will starve, THEY will be beaten and raped and slaughtered.
