Not a single 9/11 retrospective? (vanity)

Here it is, the 11th anniversary of 9/11 tomorrow, and there's not a single documentary, retrospective or reminder about that day on TV this evening. I live in NYC so tomorrow we'll have the memorial service and it'll be broadcast locally. Will it be broadcast nationally?
Why the silence? Because 10 years of mourning is enough, and now we're in year 11? Or does its absence from the airwaves have something to do with election?

There’s something on TLC right now.
Over the weekend, they had two days of documentaries on some new channel I hadn’t heard of but I tuned in to see The Falling Man, The Woman Who Wasn’t There and The Secrets of 9/11. So, there’s plenty of stuff if you look.

For the last three days, the cable channels have had an almost unending string of retrospectives.
You expect the lamestream media to do that?
C'mon!

Liberal media have deemed it “too controversial” and insulting of “Mooslim sensibilities”. Notice how the teacher strike is right at this time (and right before election time).

FRiend, I have to tell you for almost the last week, including tonight the National Geographic Channel and The Military Channel have been running 9/11 documentaries virtually non-stop. So has Fox. Some I can watch for only a few minutes. It makes too sad and too angry. I'm not ashamed to say, in fact I'm proud to say I hate Islam and Muslims intensely.

They had specials on all day Sunday. We watched most of them. I can’t remember which station - History Channel or National Geographic, I believe. And our Quinn & Rose radio Morning Show on WPGB always has a powerful special every 9-11. I don’t imagine this year will be any different.

“Liberal media have deemed it too controversial and insulting of Mooslim sensibilities.”
We have no idea about how much Arab oil money is invested in our media but it appears that it’s more than enough to keep it under control. Also might explain the anti-Israel, anti-Christian and pro-LGBT bent of our media.

I have been watching Heroes from 9 11 and have been struck by something and it's really infuriating!! How people came together that day and the days after, helping each other through it all regardless of race, gender or religion. And it struck me how we ARE NOT a prejudiced people by large and 9 11
was such an example of that - from black helping white...poor helping rich..workers giving their lives for stockbrokers and lawyers, Arabs aiding Hasidic Jews... you name it and it happened that day. Makes me so mad that the democRats and obama are pushing the lie that we are a racist country and uncaring, etc. Not to mention how 9-11 did not bring this nation down, for sure economically..but in 3 = years obama has done more damage to this country than 9-11!! Far more than in the days right after 9-11 we thought would happen!! PRAY people!! An enemy within is so much more dangerous!!

.
2012 is an important year to remember 9/11 because our younger generations are the most in danger of forgetting what really happened.
Or worse, our younger generations are susceptible to getting a politically correct view of 9/11. Many on the Left have tried to turn 9/11 into a day of national service or a celebration of tolerance, instead of remembering that radical jihad attacked this nation because of our western values.
Watch this moving tribute to the heroes of 9/11
composed by a man who lived through it:

It is the most viewed video of all,
and is now in the Smithsonian.

In addition to "BCM," Battalion Chief John Moran at the WTC, we also lost Freeper "BKO," Barbara K. Olson, author and wife of then Solicitor General of the United States Ted Olson, at the Pentagon attack.
